Anyone who sells anything needs a decent online shopping cart. The new shopping cart software and custom themes make it easy to build an attractive online store, but what about all your products? You need to get your items photographed and looking as good as possible so shoppers will be excited to buy from you. Specializing in small items (as I lack the studio space for large ones), I have years of product photography experience.
I often describe myself as a “translator.” I can speak both Engineering and customer. Of course, excellent writing skills are important for a Technical Writer, but the ability to present complex concepts as easily-understandable, and short, bites defines a good Technical Writer.

Stereos, lawn mowers, woodworking tools were all routinely taken apart and reassembled like new. So when I went to college, Aeronautical Engineering seemed like a good career choice. Besides, what would be better than playing with models in wind tunnels?
Back in 2004, with the web developer on vacation and the company owner wanting to see some changes to the websites, I offered up my limited expertise and wound up taking over the entire web presence of the largest company in our industry. I had learned some web design in college (such as it was in 1997), and had been working on a simplistic site for a few years, so when the call came I was eager to jump in.
